Still no Page Rank update, since February

It's 26th of August and we are still waiting the PR update that should happened month or two before, taking in mind that previous year, Google did that 4 times.
What is happening with Google and what's cooking in the kitchen of Google?
I know that you would say: "Why do you need Page Rank, it is useless anyway!" but things are not as they look.
Page Rank is still vital factor in judging page authority and other metrics. Google will not give up this unit, moreover it will be more important in future as it seems that is correlated with other authority metrics, and we all know how important those signals are today, in Penguin and Panda era.
I must admit that I wait this PR update and even predicted in February (after the last PR update),that the next will take an action in June.
but it's already September and still nothing.
Let's see is September is the month "D" for Google.
